ZOPO With Android 6.0 Marshmallow – All You Need To Know

Shenzhen, China – October 27th –
The first devices running the newest Android 6.0 Marshmallow are out in the wild already. Google's Nexus models and Android One devices are the first to have the new updated OS delivered to its users, but gradually, many more devices will havethe update available to them. ZOPO is not indifferent to the inevitability tohave the latest Android version on its devices - present, and future ones. So, let's try to understand exactly what does Marshmallow brings with it for theusers...

Last year's big update, Android 5.0 Lollipop, broughta huge skin graphic change to Android. Not only on the visual side of things, but also the interface and functionality aspects changed, giving users theimpression that they were using a brand new system.
The same does not happen with Android 6.0. WithMarshmallow, you shouldn't be surprised if you can't notice any obviousdifference right after the update. If anything, 6.0 polishes and softens theedges from last year's update into a more solid and easy to use experience.

Google Now on Tap
Now on Tap is perhaps the most significant newfunctionality introduced with Marshmallow, and probably the one you'll be usingall the time.
Basically, it works by pressing and holding the homebutton while using an app or visualizing content, and a Google card will showup on screen with context sensitive information relevant to what you arechecking at the moment. That information can (and very often will) includeoptions to open other apps, follow links, share content, etc. Meaning, yes,Google will be “reading” and analyzing in real time everything the user isdoing at all times (as long as an internet connection is enabled). If this makesyou feel uncomfortable for privacy concerns or any other reasons, there areoptions to limit the software. If however you're open to what Now on Tap has tooffer, Android will reveal itself to be one of the most “intelligent” anddynamic pieces of software you ever used up until now!

Improved Back-Up
We have come a very long way in improving backing updata since Android first showed up years ago. Still, when the time comes tochange smartphone, people still cringe at the thought of having to back up and transferdata. More often than not, changing device feels like an inconvenient restart, and not so much a prolongation and/or continuation of our data life cycle.
Android 6.0 changes all this, and finally improves andturns backing up into a really easy and non-intrusive process. Every time thesmartphone is using wifi, Android will be discretely backing up apps data intothe cloud. If a factory reset occurs or if the user wishes to use a new device, all that needs to be done is connect and login to the user's Google account andAndroid will just get all those personal settings configurations and logininformation back.

Battery Life (Doze Mode)
Smartphones brought with them an incalculable amountof innovation and value to everyone's life, and very much changed the waypeople interact with each other, and information. But, they also introducedpeople to problems that apparently didn't exist before smartphones becamemainstream. Battery life is one of such problems, forcing everyone to be highlyskilled “energy managers” for their devices just to make sure they make throughthe day.
Android 6.0 introduces Doze Mode, a smart managingsystem that will allow Android to “smartly” take control over energy needswithin your device. Leave your smartphone alone for a while, and Doze willgradually disable unused apps, turn off app updates and other backgroundactivity that would otherwise drain your battery.

Apps Permissions
Up until now, whenever a new app was about to beinstalled, Google would display all actions that the app would potentially beable to perform on the device, if permission to install it was given. Now withMarshmallow, Google will instead only notify users when a new kind of activityis about to be triggered by an app, asking the user to deny or allow the app toexecute whatever it's setting itself up to do.
Fingerprint standardization
If you thought fingerprint scanners on your phonewould only be used to unlock the screen, think again. Coming Android 6.0,fingerprints will be used as authentication method for a vast array ofdifferent functions and options. Online purchases are the most obvious noveltyfor the use of fingerprint authentication, but we can expect it to grow intomany other areas, and most likely push for the development of fingerprint-centricapps in the near future.

It's hard to pin-point all new additions to an updatedOS, and we know from experience that only time will truly reveal the deeper andmore subtle changes. But for now, these listed here are some of the most prevalent, and they will certainly be used by you in the very near future on your ZOPOsmartphone...

At this time, I hope Zopo remembers about its true flagship phone: the ZP999
Look in face the truth, Speed 7 is a very good device, but Zp999 is a monster. Is different and better even with 32bit.
Plese Zopo we need your support.
For once , listen to your customers.
