ZOPO Sets to Launch Speed 7 in India on August 26
After Vivo and Coolpad Dazen, another Chinese smartphone vendor, Zopo, is apparently in plans to expand its business in India. The company is set to launch the Speed 7 as its flagship offering in the country on August 26.
Zopo has sent out invites to the media persons for a press event scheduled for August 26. The invite certainly confirms that the company will launch the Zopo Speed 7 at the event, which would be attended by Zopo Mobile CEO Kevin Xu and Brand Manager Charles Bird.
Meanwhile, e-commerce site Snapdeal has listed the Zopo Speed 7 with a price tag of Rs. 12,999. It features a 5-inch IPS display with 1920 x 1080 pixels (full-HD) resolution and is powered by a 64-bit MediaTek MT6753 chipset that has an octa-core CPU and 3GB of RAM.

On the connectivity front, the smartphone has Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, A-GPS and a microUSB port. There is Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system with the company's proprietary skin on top. Besides, the smartphone comes pre-installed with Facebook, Twitter, WhatsApp, Documents to Go, Skype and Clean Master apps.
