After Vivo and Coolpad Dazen, another Chinese smartphone vendor, Zopo, is apparently in plans to expand its business in India. The company is set to launch the Speed 7 as its flagship offering in the country on August 26.

Zopo has sent out invites to the media persons for a press event scheduled for August 26. The invite certainly confirms that the company will launch the Zopo Speed 7 at the event, which would be attended by Zopo Mobile CEO Kevin Xu and Brand Manager Charles Bird.
Meanwhile, e-commerce site Snapdeal has listed the Zopo Speed 7 with a price tag of Rs. 12,999. The smartphone appears to be one of the strong competitors against Xiaomi Mi 4i with almost the same specifications. It features a 5-inch IPS display with 1920 x 1080 pixels (full-HD) resolution and is powered by a 64-bit MediaTek MT6753 chipset that has an octa-core CPU and 3GB of RAM.
